Customer Reviews

The appartment was lovely and clean, and the perfect size for a couple. The extra bedroom meant I definitely would not hesitate to go again with a few friends.
The appartment couldn't be much more central- just a few seconds walk from all the bars and restaurants and the main harbour. All the sightseeing we were able to do without even going back to our car. Just a few minutes walk from the aquarium, the part of the harbour from which the boat trips go, and the Plymouth Sound.
Great nightlife for younger visitors and couples - really lively but no trouble or rowdiness whatsoever.
The appartment itself is perfectly well equipped with everything you could want in a home from home.
Andy (the owner) was great and very cooperative. Would not hesitate to go back here.

We spent a few days at the Old Gallery with our year and half twins. The apartment is very well maintained and cosy, location is perfect as right next to the Barbican, the owners really kind.

I highly recommend it and we will certainly come back again.

I was spending the week with my Wife and Son. When I told her I had booked an apartment in the Barbican she said she wasnt sure as its supposed to be quite rowdy and, having stayed there, I have to disagree....

Terry met me upon arrival and helped with my bags to the apartment. Inside was lovely and bright with everything we needed. We only used the kettle and toaster as we ate out ,there being a huge variety of cafés, restaurants and award winning chip shops starting at the end of the lane ( Harbourside fish shop was the best)

The kitchen was well equipped and included tea, coffee and several bits that would have been handy had we eaten in. The Barbican was busy but the noise wasn't intrusive at all. Thank you Terry and Andy, for letting me use your private secure car parking space, that meant a lot and really stopped me worrying about leaving my car in the car park for the week. I look forward to staying again ,

Many thanks

It was fantastic to spend a couple of luxurious nights in this lovely apartment after a camping trip in Devon. The apartment is definitely in the best part of Plymouth, in a really pretty very narrow cobbled lane.

Andy and Terry were both great to deal with, which made the whole experience really straightforward.

The only slight issue is the lack of parking, but the car park is a 5 minute walk away and you don't need transport when you're right on the middle of the town!

I was spending the weekend with my daughter who is based in Plymouth. When I told her I had booked an apartment in the Barbican she said it is the best part and, having stayed there, I have to agree. Andy met me from the taxi (less than £5 from the station) and helped with my bags to the apartment.

The Barbican was bustling but the noise wasn't too intrusive. The town centre is only a short walk away and we found that not having our own transport was no problem. Thank you Terry and Andy, we had the most wonderful time and my only worry is finding a gap in your bookings the next time I visit with the rest of my family, as I certainly will and do not intend to look anywhere but here!
